Education
I offer varying degrees of education on pregnancy, labor, and birth to help you better understand what to expect and what your options are.
Preparation
I can help you work out a birth plan that will incorporate your desires for labor, delivery, and postpartum. This plan will also include the care you would like for you and your baby following delivery.”
Support
I will support you physically and emotionally according to your personal preferences. My modes of support include massage, counter pressure, coaching and encouragement.

Certified Doula
I am originally from Illinois but have lived in several states being married to a soldier in the Army. Fort Knox was my husband’s final duty station, so Radcliff is now my permanent home. I have been here almost 6 years and enjoy the area very much. I have four grown children and will soon have 9 grandchildren. I homeschooled my kids all through elementary and high school. While I enjoyed my time as a stay at home home school mom, an old desire of mine has been rekindled. From the time I was very young I was interested in birth work. After attending my daughter’s home birth in late 2021, I was invited by her midwife to come work as her birth assistant.
To prepare for this new chapter I took a class to become a certified childbirth educator/doula through Hartland College. Next, I took two classes to become a certified birth/midwifery assistant through Northwest Birth Assistants and Hartland College. I am also certified in Neonatal Resuscitation.
As a doula my desire is to help you achieve your desired birth experience. I will offer comfort measures, massage, and emotional support to you and baby’s dad. I will work in home settings,birth centers, or hospitals.

This Includes
● One prenatal visit.
● My presence for the duration of labor, birth, and three hours postpartum.
● One postpartum home visit with a meal.
